Full moon at 23deg Libra 13 April 2025 at 1.26am GMT
Conjunct Chiron and wide square to Mars.

The Moon is associated with our emotions, our vulnerabilities and deepest needs. A Full Moon is when the Moon is directly opposing the Sun, during this phase the Moon shines at its fullest, illuminating the night sky. It reveals what has previously been hidden, everything can now be seen.
This Full Moon is at 23 degrees Libra. So anyone with cardinal sign placements in their chart in the 20 – 26 degree orb is likely to feel the effects of this Full Moon the most. Libra – Aries – Cancer – Capricorn that’s you.
The Libra – Aries axis is all about the self and other, so relationships are going to be front and centre theme of this Full Moon.
This is the first Lunation since eclipse season, so the chaotic energy is now calming down. I personally avoid manifesting during eclipse season, so this can now resume. With it being a Full Moon the focus should be on releasing and letting go, this is the exhalation of the manifestation cycle. So what is no longer serving you?
You will want to reflect on the Libra area of your chart, the themes of that house are much more relevant at this time and you may notice changes or developments happening here. This Full Moon will provide you with greater clarity on how you might do so.
However this Full Moon is also configured with Chiron. Chiron is the wounded healer, and your natal placement can be an area of your chart that you aren’t comfortable with. To better work with Chiron you have to address your wound directly, this means being vulnerable. With Chiron being in exact conjunction with the Sun on this Full Moon, you may want to shy away from this spotlight, but this Lunation is asking you to dig deep.
Combining this with the Libra themes, how can you develop a healthy relationship without sacrificing your wants and needs? What does your relationship with yourself look like? Vulnerability and honesty with your self is needed to explore this meaning, and to also make the most out of this energy.
With the wider square to Mars, there is energy for breakthroughs to be made, but more importantly growth to come from the work that you put in at this time.
The Larger Picture
Another area that I love to track is the Lunar Gestation Cycle (an area of work developed by Dietrich Pessin). This considers the longer period over which the four phases of the moon hit the same degree point, a period of approximately 18moths. The cycle begins with the New Moon, followed nine months later with the First Quarter Moon, the Full Moon, and finally the Last Quarter Moon.
So for this Full Moon these are the Lunar Cycle dates. These will be particularly of note to you if you have a natal planet at this degree, think back to 14 October 2023, did something start then? Then to 13 July 2024 was there a development, something needing to be put into action? Keep an eye on these dates in your Moon diary.
New Moon – 14 Oct 2023 – 21 deg Libra
First Quarter Moon – 13 Jul 2024 – 22 deg Libra
Full Moon – 13 April 2025 – 23 deg Libra
Last Quarter Moon – 10 Jan 2026 – 20 deg Libra
